Attorney Profile of Andrew Biller
I focus my practice on employment law and, specifically, wage and hour litigation. Employment law generally includes wrongful termination, illegal discrimination and harassment, non-compete agreements, and employment contracts. Wage and hour litigation primarily includes claims for unpaid minimum wages and overtime pay.
I try to litigate each case aggressively and professionally. To me, that means pursuing all avenues of recovery for my clients without cutting corners or trying to cheat the system. It also means that I do my best to treat opposing parties and their lawyers with respect. In addition to employment litigation, I practice business law. Given my expertise in employment law, I am equipped to assist businesses with a variety of employment matters like litigation defense, creating or revising company handbooks, and evaluating employment policies. I also handle more general business matters like business formation, choice of entity, and contract or lease review. I understand that money is in short supply for many small businesses. Therefore, I try to provide high value services to clients and avoid "selling" legal services. Where appropriate, I do not hesitate to advise my business clients to handle certain matters themselves to reduce their legal bills. My non-law interests include investing and trading, board games, cheering on the Steelers (I grew up in Southwestern Pennsylvania), and spending time with my wife and our two cats.
